Actually, when I first got these, I didn’t think it was possible for them to grow, but after four or five days, I started to see pinning, and I was so psyched.This picture is how they look after one week. It’ll be interesting to see how big they actually get and I’m not sure how I’ll know when it’s time to cut them.They don’t look blue, though, they look black, so I hope that this is the right thing and if I eat them, I won’t like have hallucinations or something, ha ha ha.I was a little concerned about the humidity bag that they instruct you to put them in, because I’m wondering how big can these get, if they’re pushing up against that plastic bag.So when they start to get bigger, I’m probably just gonna cut the front of the bag and open it up, because you can’t remove them once you put them in there, because the bottom of the box gets damp, and I will fall apart if you try to move it.Overall, I would say, so far so good, and kind of fun.Will update with other pictures as they get bigger.

Was looking forward to my first time growing mushrooms, however this has been sitting for the last seven days and it hasn’t even pinned yet

Loving the kit so far! Was slightly confused on which instructions to follow as the ones on the box what’s inside are different. (Might suggest putting a stick with the new instructions over the old ones on the outside of the box to avoid setup confusion). But once I read thru things in entirety the set up was super easy! Only on day two so not sure how things will turn out but I’m excited to see!

Amazing! Got for my kids for her birthday and she loved it. Grew exactly like the instructions said. She even did one of the recipes and loved it. Highly recommend

Not even pin mushrooms.We ordered three mushroom kits from three companies. We started them at the same time. They are all in the same spot, with the same spraying time, air flow, and light.These are the only that did not sprout. One kit is on its second round, and this one has not even a tiny pin mushroom.The set-up looked the most thorough- a tent, nice glass bottle, clear instructions. Turns out none of that matters, because the simplistic, cheaper kit was far more successful.

I’ve praised these folks before. These mushrooms really want to grow! This kit removes every unnecessary step. I sliced the box, misted lightly, and watched Blue Oysters double in size day after day. Eight days later, I was chowing down on a nice pasta with mushroom sauce.There’s definitely something cool about the genetics here. Literally the fastest growing, biggest harvest, super beautiful, and three harvests. These fungi seem to thrive at typical household temperatures. Most homes already sit right in their comfort zone, which makes this kit unusually reliable. I placed it on a counter, followed the instructions, and let the mushrooms do their thing. I’m tempted to try my own tent with a whole bunch of boxes now. They are really fun.The kit includes everything you need: a solid misting bottle, a simple humidity tent, and a fully colonized block that clearly arrived ready to fruit. The mushrooms were meaty, savory, and rich, with a texture that sears beautifully. Grocery-store mushrooms don’t compare. (I can never find the blue ones anyway!)The packaging makes this an easy gift for people who feel hard to shop for. They might even make a new friend. (Chris, the « help dude, » will literally chat on the phone to explain things.) It’s really not complicated. I was just making it a big deal because I’m a compulsive.I do note that when I got ’em, they were 5 bucks less expensive than others. Great deal.

It’s been a week and they’re growing but they’re certainly not blue like the picture.
